Shower glass that stays clear

Limescale is not the problem
Limescale wipes off
Limescale spots sit on top of the glass. Vinegar or a descaling cleaner removes them again.
Glass corrosion stays
Moisture, heat, shampoo and hard water attack the surface itself. It starts invisibly, progresses slowly and cannot be reversed. The glass turns dull, rough and blotchy – and gets harder and harder to clean.
What the finish does
According to Frerichs Glas, the layer bonds permanently with the glass and prevents the rough, cloudy surface whose fine pores and scratches would otherwise trap limescale and dirt.

What is guaranteed
- no haze above 3 % caused by corrosion (measured to ASTM D1003)
- no ageing from the chemicals and stains in the shower standard EN 14428, section 5.3
- no flaking and no cracks in the coating
Under these conditions
- The glass is only used indoors as shower glass.
- It is processed and installed according to the standard and the manufacturer's instructions.
- The coating is not damaged and does not come into contact with abrasives or aggressive chemicals.
- The care instructions are followed – limescale from lack of care is not covered.
Not covered
Glass breakage. Costs of removal and refitting – the manufacturer replaces the glass or refunds the purchase price. A defect must be reported to the manufacturer in writing within eight working days of discovery.

After showering, wipe the wet pane with a squeegee or microfibre cloth. That keeps the glass clean and limescale spots never form.
