Two glass sides in the corner of the room, with the entrance right in the corner: on each side a fixed panel sits on the wall, with a door attached that opens outwards.

Alcove shower
The shower sits between three walls. We close the open side with glass, made to the millimetre from our own measurements.

Walk-in shower
One fixed glass wall, no door. The entrance stays open – a particularly good match for level-access showers.

Modelled on CRL: Bellagio hinges (brass, for doors up to 50 kg), the matching U-channel on the wall and the SAB220 stabilising bracket inside at the top of the fixed panel. CRL offers all three in these twelve finishes – the U-channel in polished or brushed stainless steel to go with chrome and nickel; we show handles and taps in the same finish. The evening sun in the image warms the colours.
The fittings
Hinges, door hinges and brackets hold the glass – and they are what you touch every day. We use fittings from two manufacturers.

The U-channel
Bellagio U-channel by CRL. For 8 and 10 mm glass: aluminium with a stainless steel cladding, colour-matched to the Bellagio hinges. It holds the fixed panel on the wall; two end caps are included.

How does shower glass stay clear for a long time?

Who installs the glass shower?
Our own installation team in Berlin and Brandenburg. We only hand over when everything fits.
What is a walk-in shower?
A shower with a fixed glass wall and no door – the entrance stays open. It works especially well with level-access showers.
What doors are there for glass showers?
Pivot doors that open both ways, folding doors that need very little space, and sliding doors. A walk-in shower has no door at all.
